Do you have a physical store? Can I buy Amaka Joy products in person?
Amaka Joy does not currently have a physical store location. At this time, we are an e-commerce store only. We do plan to host pop up shops in the near future, so make sure you’re following our social media channels to see when and where.
Do you allow in person pick ups?
At this time our store is 100% online, and we do not allow in person pick ups.
The head wrap I wanted to purchase is now out of stock. Will it be restocked?
If a handmade item is listed as out of stock on the Amaka Joy website, we may not be able to bring it back. We try to re-stock our items as quickly as possible but may not be able to continue using certain prints/patterns.
I don't see my size listed. Will you get more sizes?
Unless otherwise noted in the product description, the only sizes available are what is currently listed. Unfortunately, we do not offer every item in all sizes S-3X at this time.
The item I want is sold out. When will you restock?
You’ve fallen in love with one of our items, but it’s out of stock. Not to worry, you can sign up for a restock notification with your email. We’ll notify you if/when the item comes back. There is no guarantee, but in the event of a restock, the people on the waiting list will always have first dibs.
How does sizing run?
Unfortunately, due to the fact that we are a boutique that carries multiple brands, product sizing can vary. For your convenience, we include sizing and other important details specific to that item in the description box on each product page. Please refer to those details to help choose the best size for you.
If it says that an item "runs big", you may be able to size down; if it says that it "runs small" you might need to size up, and if it says "true to size", there typically aren't any sizing specifications that would prohibit that item from fitting as that size normally would.
What if I receive the wrong item?
While we will do our best to make sure this doesn’t happen, life happens. We want your shopping experience with us to be amazing, so please email hello@amakajoy.com with your order number and we will take care of you!
I placed an order and now I want to cancel, what can I do?
Once you place an order, any refund will be in the form of store credit. Please be sure to double-check your order before hitting submit or pay. Thanks for understanding!
I made a mistake in entering my shipping address, what should I do?
Again, we understand that life happens. Please reach out within 24 hours to change your address. We will do our best to make sure that you receive your pieces but after your order has shipped, we cannot change the address and cannot be held responsible for any misdirected packages. Please read our shipping policy for more.
Can I get a sale adjustment?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer sale price adjustments on any special promotions that temporarily reduces the price of an item. If the code is still valid, we encourage you to purchase something else!
I want to return my item(s). Can I get a refund?
Per our store return policy, we do not offer refunds of any sort. Should you not be satisfied with your purchase, you can return your item within 7 days of delivery for store credit. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
